The regulation of private entrepreneurial activities has been changed

From 1 January 2012, rules regarding sole proprietorships have changed. Private entrepreneurs may take up only effectively exercised scopes of activities and the official control of private entrepreneurs' activities becomes more stringent as well.
 

The revision of law allows private entrepreneurs to terminate their activity in person as well. In addition to the start up notification of the activity practical experience has necessitated the opportunity also to terminate private entrepreneurs’ activity by personal appearance at the Document Services Centre.

At the same time the scope of public authorities entitled to claim data from the private entrepreneurs’ register has been also expanded. It means that besides Court of Justice, Public Prosecutor’s Office and Police, also notaries public, court bailiffs, economic or professional chambers and the administrative organs will be entitled to claim data in addition to the information recorded in the public register. The electronic forms for private entrepreneurs’ administration have been changed as well.
